Matteo Tranquilli

Matteo Tranquilli is an artist and filmmaker based in Rome. After developing a passion for photography, he began working in 2016 as a camera operator and editor for music videos and fashion spots. Through years of hands-on experimentation, he specialized as a director and editor, working with numerous artists and music projects. His path then opened up increasingly toward video art and installation work, a field in which he experiments with new multimedia and expressive languages, often in collaboration with other artists. He currently writes, directs, and produces short films and artistic projects, alongside his work in fashion and commercial communication. His research moves between symbolic narrative, landscape, and technical experimentation, exploring themes of growth, memory, and transformation.
